No Buck? No Problem!

Bucks2022.jpg
We now offer some of our bucks for stud. Does must have proof of current disease testing for CL, CAE, and Johnes (tested no more than 9 months prior to breeding). We offer a form of "driveway" breeding. You bring your doe to our farm when she is in heat, we put her into our breeding pen along with your buck of choice, they have some quality time together...and then you are on your way with a breeding memo in hand.

Stud fees are due at the time of service. All stud fees for fall 2023 are listed, below. Check out our bucks on their individual

Flash is a very confident fellow and

can handle any doe. My does all adore him, even my bossy herd queen. He has settled does this season.

House on the Hill's Flash

2nd gen. Experimental

Dam has her milk star and sire's dam was tested but not with MDGA. She could easily earn her star and has extended lactations. I consider Flash a *B buck. Check out his genetics on his web page. Heavy milk producers and superior genetics. Milk AND Show potential. If bred to a dam who has her milk star, their male offspring will be *B bucks.

$200 stud fee, per doe.

Vern is best paired with smaller, less aggressive does. He gets intimidated by the big, bossy girls. He has settled does this season.

Willoughby Croft HM Vernal Equinox

3rd gen. American

Dam has her milk star and was the first of my does to earn theirs. His dam is a heavy producer. His sire won grand champion in an MDGA V-Show. Milk AND show potential. If bred to a dam who has her milk star, their male offspring will be *B bucks.

$150 stud fee, per doe.

We do not offer overnight, or extended boarding of your doe and our bucks will NOT leave our property. Below is a list of activities that you can consider while you are waiting for your doe to be bred:

*Grab a meal at Vader's famous Little Crane Cafe.
*Drive to Centralia to check out the outlet mall or antique row. Then grab a meal at the iconic McMinnamin's Olympic Club.
*Go hiking in Lewis & Clark State Park and then grab a burger in Toledo at Betty's Place.
*Chehalis Centralia Train & Museum. Call ahead to make sure the museum is open.
*Lewis County Historical Museum
*Joy's Once Upon a Thyme. Lunch, only, but very good food and cute atmosphere. Outside seating, too.

FAQ's
* How do I know when my doe is in heat?
All does are unique. Know your doe's normal behavior so you can tell when she's acting different than usual. Here are some helpful links:

* How do I get a buck rag?
We can make one up and mail it to you for the price of postage.

* How can the doe get bred in just one session with the buck?
When I breed my does they are only with the buck for 2 to 3 hours. After that she is more than ready to put the buck in her rear view mirror. "Wham, bam, thank you, Sam!" As long as she is in standing heat, and is physically able to be bred, she will ALWAYS be bred in that time. However we do allow one additional visit PER DOE in case she doesn't take the first time.
